Heuchera ‘Electra’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.370

This hybrid Coral Bells selection is a terrific choice for adding a touch of colour towards the front of a border in shady areas. The large lobed leaves emerge bright yellow with dark red veining but as the season progresses, they soften to chartreuse with lighter red veins, holding their colour all summer. Winter foliage is tan. Taller stems of small white bell flowers appear in midsummer. Wonderful in the garden and in mixed containers. Trim off any withered or tired-looking leaves in spring. Tolerant of high heat and humidity. Should tolerate part day sun in cool-summer regions like the Pacific Northwest. A 2009 introduction from Terra Nova Nurseries of Oregon. USPP#21856: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
