Heuchera ‘Fire Chief’

Fancy-leaf Coral Bells

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.266.430

This hybrid Coral Bells selection is a terrific choice for adding a touch of colour towards the front of a border in shady areas. This selection forms a mound of mid-sized leaves that are gently lobed and wine-red in colour. As the leaves mature, they develop maroon markings. Sprays of small bicolor white and pink bell flowers appear on dark stems in spring and continue through summer and fall. Wonderful in the garden or in mixed containers. Foliage darkens in winter. Trim off any withered or tired-looking leaves in spring. Should tolerate more sun in cool-summer regions like the Pacific Northwest. A 2010 introduction from Terra Nova Nurseries of Oregon. USPP#21880: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
