Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This midsized selection has thick, rounded powder blue leaves that old their colour extremely well. Soft lavender flowers appear in July. Considered to be one of the best blue forms yet introduced. Good substance and slug resistance. Bred by Hans Hansen of Shady Oaks Nursery in Minnesota. USPP#17309: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
