Pulmonaria longifolia ‘Bertram Anderson’

Lungwort

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.449.100

(Also known as ‘E. B. Anderson') Despite their unfortunate common name, Lungworts are among the most dependable and showy spring-blooming perennials, and many types have attractive foliage throughout the season. This selection blooms a couple of weeks later than most Lungworts, and features large clusters of bright cobalt-blue flowers on the ends of arching stems. Foliage is long and narrow, dark green with silver spots. Plants should be cut back hard immediately after blooming, to rejuvenate the leaves, which will then remain attractive all season. Tolerates heat and humidity.
