Sedum ‘Postman’s Pride’

Autumn Stonecrop

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.485.720

Actually found by a Belgian postman in his garden, this outstanding selection produces a bushy mound of dark purple succulent leaves. Taller stems appear in late summer, bearing that deep purple buds that open into clusters of starry pinkish-red flower. These develop into brown seed heads for the winter. In very rich soil with lots of moisture this may be inclined to get floppy. Pinch or prune plants back by half in June if this occurs. Trim back to the ground in early spring. USPP#16831: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
