Sedum alboroseum ‘Mediovariegatum’

Autumn Stonecrop

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.485.890

The border varieties of Stonecrop are a dependable choice for the late summer and fall garden, offering foliage interest earlier in the season, then a colourful display of flowers in the fall. This selection is grown mostly for the foliage, the large pea-green leaves bear a striking creamy-yellow blotch in the centre. Green broccoli-like buds appear in mid-summer, gradually opening into large white flower heads, tinged with pale pink. In rich soils, plants may be pinched in June to prevent floppiness. Remove any all-green shoots, if they appear.
