Dwarf Speedwell

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.540.510

This selection of Speedwell is ideal for growing along the front of a border, in the rock garden, as a pathway edging or massed as a groundcover. It forms a low mound of small, serrated green leaves, with short spikes of starry medium-blue flowers, with a tiny white eye. Flowering continues from late spring into the autumn. In warm climates, if flowering wanes in early July, just clip the plants back by half to rejuvenate. Selected by Christy Hensler in Washington State, who also discovered Vinca minor ‘Illumination'. USPP#18142: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
