Echinacea ‘Delicious Candy’

Double Hybrid Coneflower

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.650.820

This new hybrid Coneflower features large double flowers with flat ray petals surrounding a large pom-pom centre all in fluorescent fuchsia pink. Flowers earlier than other coneflowers and stays fresh looking throughout the season. Plants are compact with dark stems and dark green leaves. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed. However keeping some dried flower heads on the plants in fall will provide food for wintering song birds. Dried seed heads also add interest to the winter garden. Bred by Dutch hybridizer Marco van Noort. USPPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
