Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This midsized specimen selection has thick leaves with powdery blue-green centres and a wide, streaky ivory-white margin. Pale lavender flowers appear in July. Good slug resistance. A H. ‘Halcyon’ sport discovered by Hendrick van den Top of the Netherlands in 2002. USPP#19003: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
