Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This miniature selection has leaves that emerge mid-green, turning dark green as the plant matures, and irregular gold edging. Dark purple striped flowers appear in summer. Excellent in rock gardens and containers. Sport of H. ‘Baby Bunting’. Bred by Hans Hansen and introduced by Shady Oaks Nursery, MN.
