A unique and little-known natural hybrid, this fern has only recently become available to gardeners. Plants have very large dark-green fronds, forming an clump with an upright and arching appearance. Ideal for specimen effect in the moist woodland. Plants slowly spread to form a patch over time. Easily divided every 4 to 5 years in early spring. Occurs occasionally in woodlands of the Eastern USA. Deciduous.
