Aquilegia Goldfinch

Songbird Columbine

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.050.180

Columbines are now available in a wide range of colours and plant heights. The Songbird series features large spurred blooms held on sturdy, compact stems over lacy blue-green leaves. ‘Goldfinch’ is a beautiful soft creamy-yellow shade that blends with nearly anything. Excellent for cutting. Since Columbines are relatively short lived, allow some of the plants to go to seed and self sow. Leaf miners or sawfly may disfigure the leaves around flowering time. Simply trim off the ugly foliage and the plants will grow fresh leaves.
