Artemisia lactiflora

White Mugwort

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.075.100

Quite different and unique from most other Artemisia, this species is grown mostly for the large panicles of creamy-white flowers, similar to Astilbe, which appear from midsummer on. Plants form a tall, upright clump of fresh green leaves, best suited to the back of the border. Prefers a rich, moist soil and is perfect beside a stream or pond along with other moisture lovers such as Ligularia and Filipendula. Also useful in tubs or mixed containers. Good for cutting, fresh or dried.
