Artemisia vulgaris ‘Variegata’

Variegated Mugwort

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.075.900

A handsome, variegated form of the herb Mugwort. This forms an upright, bushy clump that fits in well towards the middle to back of a sunny border. Leaves are medium green, brightly splashed with creamy-white. Flowers are insignificant. One of the best uses for this selection is in tubs or containers with other perennials, so the foliage can be enjoyed from up close. For best effect, cut back hard in late June to rejuvenate the plant with new growth. Plants should not be allowed to set seed, trim off flowers heads as they appear.
