Brunnera macrophylla ‘Alexander’s Great’

Siberian Bugloss

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.106.320

A superb specimen perennial, forming a gigantic mound of very large, heart-shaped, heavily silvered leaves. Sprays of blue Forget-me-not flowers appear in spring. This selection makes a dynamic statement in the woodland garden. Keep out of hot afternoon sun, as the leaves can scorch. Plants may be divided easily in early autumn. Sometimes self seeds generously, but usually the seedlings have plain green leaves. A 2013 introduction by Terra Nova Nurseries, Oregon. USPP#25789: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
