Hibiscus ‘Summer Carnival’

Hardy Hibiscus

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.270.270

The hardy forms of Hibiscus are valued for their showy late-summer display of enormous satiny blooms. These flower best in areas with long, hot summers. Plants form upright, bushy mounds well suited to the back of a perennial border. This selection is a collector’s item featuring green leaves with narrow cream margin, edges have a hint of blush and huge dark magenta pink flowers. Excellent vigor, great flower coverage and beautifully shaped habit. Dies back completely to the ground in winter, but new growth is slow to appear in spring, be patient! Mulch well for the first winter, especially in Zones 4 and 5. USPP#31587: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
