Rodgersia pinnata ‘Fireworks’

Rodgersia

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.454.490

With its bold, divided leaves this forms an exotic-looking clump that adds a unique foliage accent to any moist border. It produces big plumes of glowing deep-pink flowers in early summer, over a big mound of green leaves with bronzy edges. Plants prefer a moist, dappled shade setting, but will grow in full sun at the waterside. Useful as an architectural specimen plant. Clumps seldom need dividing, but this may be done in early spring. Divisions take a few years to settle back in. Water during dry weather.
