Salvia nemorosa Sallyrosa™ ‘April Night’

Perennial Sage

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.468.730

The Perennial Sages are invaluable for their rich display of spiky flowers in the summer border. This selection from the Sallyrosa™ series is compact, flowering up to a month earlier than other varieties with long-lasting, upright, flower spikes in vivid, violet-blue. Floriferous. Remove faded blooms to encourage repeat flowering. Excellent for cutting. Somewhat drought tolerant, once established with excellent mildew resistance. Also tolerates heat and humidity. Plants may be easily divided in early spring or fall. Can be clipped back hard after blooming, to rejuvenate the foliage. Attractive to both butterflies and hummingbirds. USPP#26520: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
