Sedum telephium ‘African Sunset’

Autumn Stonecrop

USDA Zone: 3-9

Plant number: 1.485.730

The border varieties of Stonecrop are dependable choices for the late summer and fall garden, offering both foliage interest and a colourful display of flowers. This colourful selection has succulent dark mahogany-red foliage that forms a bushy mound. Clusters of cherry-red flowers are held on branching stems in late summer and autumn. Excellent for cutting. May need staking if grown in rich soil. Clumps may be easily increased by dividing in the spring, every 2 to 3 years. Although often offered under this name, this should be correctly known as ‘African Pearl'.
