Spiderwort forms a mound of grassy-looking leaves with a long display of interesting triangular flowers, available in a variety of colours. This selection has shocking magenta-pink to purple blooms and sturdy blue-green foliage. Plants should be trimmed back hard when blooming ends, to rejuvenate the foliage and encourage repeat bloom in late summer. Happiest in a sunny, moist site. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in spring. Flowers are attractive to butterflies.
