Armenian Speedwell

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 1.540.310

A little-known species of Speedwell, native to Eastern Europe. It forms a low carpet of soft needle-like evergreen leaves, bearing an early summer display of small round bright blue flowers, each with a tiny white eye. Nice in a rock garden, alpine trough or rock wall, but also useful between flagstones or along the edge of a path or border. Drought tolerant once established. Easily increased by dividing in spring or early autumn. Quite possibly hardy in Zone 3 or colder.
