Echinacea ‘Piccolino’

Double Coneflower

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 1.650.340

This selection is the first dwarf, fully double-flowering Coneflower. It produces dark pink, daisy– like petals surrounding a darker pink pompom with a green eye. Lightly fragrant and very floriferous. Plant habit is well-branched, strong and bushy. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. Excellent for cutting. Coneflowers begin blooming midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed. However, keeping some dried flower heads over the winter months will provide food for song birds. USPP#23348: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
