Hosta ‘Raspberry Sundae’

Hosta

USDA Zone: 2-9

Plant number: 1.700.580

Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form a sturdy mound of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This compact selection comes to us from Terra Nova Nurseries, Inc. in Oregon and features foliage with some red pigmentation, creamy-white centres and irregular, green margins. Burgundy flower stalks and leaf bases add wonderful contrast. Violet-purple flowers appear in late summer to early fall. Suitable for planting in mixed containers or tubs. Hosta go completely dormant in the fall, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid spring. Easily divided in either spring or fall, but plants may be left alone for years. USPP#22685: unlicensed propagation prohibited. COPF.
