Pachysandra terminalis ‘Silver Edge’

Variegated Japanese Spurge

USDA Zone: 4-9

Plant number: 7.405.150

Japanese Spurge is the most widely planted evergreen groundcover. This unique selection forms an attractive low patch of shiny green leaves edged in creamy white, bearing clusters of white flowers in spring. Excellent under trees and in nearly any other shady site. Tolerates poor soil, but very slow to establish and spread. Space closely, at 20 to 30 plants per square yard to get a reasonably quick fill. Use a one to two inch deep layer of bark mulch to help keep down weeds. Very similar, possibly identical to the selection ‘Variegata'.
