Pennisetum orientale ‘Tall Tails’

Giant Fountain Grass

USDA Zone: 6-9

Plant number: 8.300.170

Fountain Grass is one of the most popular grasses. This amazing recent selection forms an upright clump of bright green leaves, bearing long arching bottlebrush spikes of creamy tan with a hint of soft pink. Blooms appear in early fall and stay attractive into December. Foliage turns golden-tan for the winter months. A spectacular plant to use as a specimen, also nice for massing or in containers. Clumps may be divided in spring. Old foliage should be cut to the ground in March. Very tolerant of warm and humid summer climates.
