Dryopteris × complexa ‘Stableri Crisped’

Crisped Hybrid Male Fern

USDA Zone: 5-9

Plant number: 9.030.310

Like most of the Male Ferns, this is an easy selection for any site with rich, moist soil and shade. Plants form a medium-sized clump of triangular green fronds, finely divided and the ends of the leaflets curled or “crisped”. Clumps are well-behaved and not at all invasive. Appreciates a mulch of leaves to retain moisture. Semi-evergreen in mild winter regions. Old foliage may be pruned to the ground in late winter.
