The hardy Marguerite Daisies are among the best choices for summer-long colour in the sunny border. Plants form a bushy mound of ferny green foliage, bearing loads of small bright-orange daisies from early summer on. Useful in containers, as well as in the garden. Relatively drought tolerant, and adapts well to poor soils. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly increase blooming time. If plants become floppy in mid-summer, shear them back to 6 inches to rejuvenate. A short-lived perennial, but will often self seed.
