The Trumpet or Aurelian Lilies are not often seen in gardens, and deserve to be more widely grown. Plants have immense flaring trumpet-shaped blooms with a strong, sweet fragrance. This selection features bright yellow flowers, with stripes of maroon-red on the outsides of the petals. Because of their height, these need to be staked or grown up through a supporting shrub. Excellent for cutting, but be careful of the pollen, which can stain clothing and fabrics easily. Divide the clumps every 3 to 4 years in the fall.
