Cortaderia selloana ‘Aureolineata’

Pampas Grass is one of the most spectacular ornamental grasses, forming a large evergreen clump with very tall plumes of white flowers in autumn that last for months. This selection has green leaves striped lengthwise with bright yellow and an attractive cascading habit. The overall size is about two-thirds that of the plain green species form. Plumes and leaves are both great for cutting. In cold winter regions Pampas Grass may be successfully wintered in a container indoors. Remove any dead leaves in spring, wearing goggles and thick gloves for protection.
