Campanula cochlearifolia ‘Advance Blue’
Fairy Thimble Bellflower |
USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Plant number: 1.111.190
One of the most charming of the popular perennial Bellflowers. This Fairy Thimble forms a compact, bushy mound of small green leaves, bearing loads of dangling lavender-blue bells late spring through summer. Flowers the first year. Reliable and very floriferous. Delightful growing among rocks, on walls, and between paving stones. Also good in alpine troughs and container gardens. Divide every 2 years in spring to maintain vigour. Plants will not be happy in poorly-drained clay soil. Performs best in regions with cool summers.
