The Leading Lady™ Series was bred to flower earlier, be floriferous blooming all summer, be cold and heat tolerant and mildew resistant. The series is characterized as “strong Coreopsis breeding, with first year flowering on hardy plants”. This selection named after Lauren Bacall is one of four in the series and features masses of large, single yellow flowers. Introduced by Darryl Probst, the breeder of the Big Bang series.
