A remarkable selection of our native Purple Coneflower. Plants are strong and bushy in habit, ideal for borders and growing in mixed containers. Large and fragrant flowers are an especially vibrant magenta-pink, with a cone that changes from green to golden-orange. Flowering begins in midsummer and continues for weeks if faded blooms are regularly removed. Coneflowers are sturdy and easy-care perennials that perform best in a sunny location. Flowers are very attractive to butterflies. Seed heads are useful in dried arrangements. Excellent for cutting. USPP#17172: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.
