Hosta are among the most popular of perennials for shady areas, with hundreds of varieties now readily available. Plants form sturdy mounds of foliage, topped with lily-like blooms. This miniature selection has thick, pointy leaves of golden-yellow with dark green edges, streaks and flecks. Lavender flowers appear in August. Excellent slug resistance. A reverse sport of ‘Dixie Chick’ discovered and introduced by Tony Avent of Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina.
