Taller stems of greenish flowers develop into tan seed heads by midsummer. Particularly attractive in massed plantings. Easily divided in fall or spring. Foliage may remain evergreen in mild winter regions. Prune back in early spring if desired, and remove flower spikes in late summer to tidy up the clumps.
