Lupinus Russell Hybrids mixture
Russell Lupine |
USDA Zone: 3-9 |
Plant number: 1.330.050
The tall spires of Lupines are an unforgettable sight in the early summer border. Plants grow best in a deep, rich soil, slightly on the acidic side. This mixture produces flowers in nearly every shade of the rainbow, including white, pink, yellow, red and deep blue. As these are biennial or short-lived perennials, allow some plants to set seed for future generations. Trim foliage back after flowers are finished. Good results may also be had by direct sowing seed in the garden: follow seed packet directions. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
