Paeonia officinalis ‘Anemoniflora Rosea’
Common Peony |
USDA Zone: 2-9 |
Plant number: 1.407.080
Common Peonies are historical varieties, long grown for their late spring display of colourful and fragrant blooms. This selection forms a compact bush of dark green leaves, remaining attractive all season. Flowers are deep rose-pink and single, the centre filled with golden-orange stamens. The compact size makes this perfect for edging or in the rock garden. Excellent for cutting. Peonies seldom need to be divided or moved, but if necessary it should be carried out only in the fall. Trim off old stems to the ground in late fall, to help prevent disease problems.
