It forms a bushy upright clump of fragrant grey-green leaves, bearing copious spikes of lavender-blue flowers from mid-summer on. This is a compact selection, better suited to the smaller garden or for the front of the border than the taller forms. Excellent for hot, sunny sites, in the garden or in tubs.
