The ornamental Burnet or Bottlebrush are just beginning to be used here in North American gardens. This species ideal for the middle of a sunny border, or in containers. Plants form a low mound of lacy grey-green leaves, bearing bottlebrush spikes of soft-pink flowers in summer. Nice for cutting. Plants prefer a moist site. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Cut foliage back if it gets tired-looking after blooming.
