This is one of the tallest Meadow-rue selections, forming a narrow and upright mound of lacy blue-green foliage, a little bit like a Columbine or Maidenhair Fern in effect. In midsummer the purplish stems hold loose and elegant sprays of soft lavender flowers, with a contrasting tuft of yellow stamens. An unusual cut flower. Terrific in the woodland garden, or a moist sunny border. Stems may require staking. Stems may require staking. Clumps may be carefully divided in spring every 3 to 4 years if desired.
