Verbascum ‘Raspberry Ripple’
Hybrid Mullein |
USDA Zone: 5-9 |
Plant number: 1.537.330
Cousins to the common roadside mullein, the Hybrid Mulleins are unusual, showy plants for the well-drained sunny border. Triangular leaves form a flat rosette, bearing upright spikes of flowers in a beautiful soft pink shade with darker raspberry streaks. Plants flower over a long period, and the spikes are excellent for cutting. Inclined to exhaust itself to death, any small offsets should be removed each spring, to start new plants. This British selection is long-blooming and colourful.
