| Although actually a woody shrub, Bluebeard is usually cut back each spring to 6 inches and treated more like a perennial. This selection has outstanding variegated foliage, white with a splash of dark green in the center, forming a bushy mound. The late-season display of fragrant soft-blue flowers will attract butterflies. Both drought and heat tolerant once established. Plants appreciate excellent drainage. Considering the amount of variegation in the foliage, this selection is reported to perform well with a full sun exposure.
