 | |
| The hardy Cranesbill Geraniums include a number of varieties best suited to the rock garden or for edging, in well-drained sunny sites. This introduction forms a dense, low mat of dark-green leaves, with bright magenta-purple, black-eyed flowers resting on the trailing stems. Begins blooming in late spring, continuing on and off through the summer, especially in regions with cool weather. Nice also in alpine troughs or mixed containers. Clip plants lightly after flowering is over, to promote bushy growth from the middle. Developed in Britain by plant breeder Carl Lowe, named in honour of plantsman Aad Zoet. USPP#17394, CPBRAF: unlicensed propagation prohibited.
