| These poppies are cute little alpine plants, best suited to the rock garden or for edging in hot, sunny borders. Plants form a low tuft of silvery-green leaves, bearing upright stems of satiny flowers in a gorgeous sherbet-orange shade. Double flowers seem to occur often as well. A short-lived perennial, but will usually self-seed. This also performs well in containers or alpine troughs. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming season. Drought tolerant.
