 | Common name : Sulphur Poppy |
 | |
| The Sulphur Poppy is a charming little alpine variety, suitable for rock gardens or edging in a warm, sunny border. Plants form a low rosette of fuzzy olive-green leaves, with upright stems of satiny flowers appearing in late spring, in a cool shade of sulphur yellow. A short-lived perennial, but will usually self-seed. This also performs well in containers or alpine troughs. Removing faded flowers will greatly increase the blooming season. Drought tolerant.
