 | Common name : Mountain Fleeceflower |
 | |
| Mountain Fleeceflower is a total workhorse in the garden, providing showy spikes of flowers for weeks on end from midsummer onward. This is a tall and bushy selection with notably long spikes of deep red. Great in the middle to back of a border, and excellent for cutting. Easy and reliable over a wide range of climates. This is a plant that more gardeners should be growing! A recent introduction from breeder Chris Ghyselen of Belgium. Sometimes listed as Bistorta amplexicaulis.
