 | Common name : Yellow Jacob's Ladder |
 | |
| This is a native to the western US, forming a low mound of dark green, ferny leaves. Clusters of tubular flowers are produced in early summer, soft creamy-yellow with a salmon-red flush. One of the few non-blue species of Jacob's Ladder, and quite an unusual addition to the rock garden or woodland. Likes moisture but prefers a loose soil with good drainage. Clumps may be divided in early spring.
