 | Salvia greggii ‘Wild Thing’ |
 | Common name : Texas Autumn Sage |
 | |
| Very popular in the southern US, this form of Texas Autumn Sage has proven to be hardier than most. It forms a medium sized bushy mound of small green leaves, bearing slender spikes of cherry-pink blooms from midsummer onward. A magnet to butterflies and hummingbirds. Excellent in sunny borders or containers. Prune back to 4 inches in spring. Possibly hardy to Zone 5 or colder if winter drainage is excellent.
