| Native to the Pacific Northwest, this sturdy woodland plant forms a low mound of heart-shaped evergreen foliage. In this variety the leaves are overlaid in silver, with deep burgundy veins during winter. Tall stems of odd little fringed chartreuse and pink flowers appear in late spring. Tolerates heavy shade and dry soils. Registered with COPF: royalty required for propagation.
