Here's the complete description for this Heritage Perennial. Drop in any time to see the rest of our collection.

 Plant Number: 1.513.020USDA Zone: 3 - 9
Thalictrum aquilegiifolium
Common name :  Meadow-rue
Meadow-rue is an exceptionally beautiful perennial that shines in a moist woodland setting. Plants have delicate, lacy blue-green foliage a little bit like a Columbine or Maidenhair Fern in effect. The cloud-like sprays of mauve-lavender to white flowers are useful for cutting. Despite the delicate appearance, it is fairly tolerant of warm, humid summers. In cool regions plants will tolerate full sun if kept moist. Clumps may be easily divided in spring or fall.

What others say about this plant...
My most gratifying combination to date: wispy puffs of mauve-pink Thalictrum aquilegifolium, upright spires of purple-red lupines, great balls of Allium aflatunense — punctuated throughout with royal-purple columbine. Were it not in my own garden, I'd be envious!; Kevin Ward, Zone 5",
