 Plant Number: 1.530.020USDA Zone: 3 - 9
Trollius pumilus
Common name :  Dwarf Globeflower
Globeflowers are lovely plants for the late spring garden. This low, compact species is especially beautiful in the rock garden, where it forms a small mound of shiny green leaves, bearing single yellow buttercups for several weeks. Equally happy in sun or partial shade. Will sometimes rebloom in areas with cool summers. Clumps may be easily divided in fall or early spring. Worth trying in tubs or mixed containers.

What others say about this plant...
Now this one is different. Dwarf globeflower is a nice dwarf species for smaller areas, such as a rock garden or the front of a border. It produces the same yellow, globe-shaped flowers as the others, but they're only 1 inch in diameter.; Larry Hodgson, Perennials for Every Purpose
